Let's go on an adventure!

My schedule this semester is not what I would call hard... Just really time consuming. There are days where I leave my apartment at 8:30 to go to class and don't get to come home until 4:30. The best part? No break! :(

Lucky for me the hard/long part of my schedule is in the beginning of the week and my Thursday my earliest class is at 10 and I get out by 2 (With breaks and my only two classes I have is Stats and Zumba). Even better, on Friday my earliest class is at 11:30 and I get out by 1:30. It's like after all those long days of classes I finally get to catch a break by the weekend!

But you know what can keep me going through most of those long days? The fact that I will get to hang out with this great boy at the end of the day :)

Maybe one day he'll take a picture where he'll show his face.

When we hang out, there's never a dull time. We have a list of adventures that we plan on completing... Let me give you a gist of what some of them we've already done are:
-Go to Wingers
-Do the snow dance
-Watch Zoolander (so that when I quote the movie to him he'll understand what i'm referring to!)
-Teach me how to drive stick shift
-Get 99 cent tacos at this little taco stand in Logan
-Drive to the Idaho boarder just for the heck of it
-Go on a Chipotle trip down in Bountiful
... And more on the list that we still need to complete!

Granted some of the things on the list is more adventurous than the others but whatever we end up doing is always great! I always look forward to it too!

Set Fire to the Rain!

Okay, So, I should probably let you know that the title of this post has nothing to do with everything I'm going to update you all on. I'm just going to list everything that has been going on since the last time I posted! Fair enough? Cool.

-I finished the fall semester with two A's two B's and one more grade that wasn't so hot. It was in Biology. Nuff said.
-Went to a Logan Improv show. SUPER FUNNY. I want to go again sometime.
-It didn't snow as much once late November/early December hit. That's really weird Logan.
-Went home to Maryland for a good 3 weeks for winter break which was fantastic!
-Got a tripod for Christmas, which is really going to be helpful this semester
-Went to DC and saw protesters camping out #OccupyWashington

-Took my friend Tamara to see the DC temple lights!

-Realized how different my friends are in Maryland compared to my friends in Utah. In a good way though! :)
-Re-realized how different Maryland is from Utah (even though I like to remind people of that all the time!)
-Came back to Logan the Saturday before classes started
-I'm taking the maximum amount of credit hours I can take here... Lord give me strength!
-My photography 2 class is going to be super great! (minus the expensive amount of supplies I still need to buy)
-I'm taking one evening class again. Not as late as last spring semester though!
-My schedule is super hectic in the beginning of the week, then calms down by Thursday and Friday :)
-Had some really good 99 cent tacos from a taco stand in Logan! Yum!
-Went to my first Jazz game with Jordan! Super fun!

... I guess that's the basic gist of it all. I'll try and update a little more so I don't have to go back and list everything. Have a good weekend everyone!

Let the cold and snow, begin!

Hey everyone! (I just want to point out, that blogging with pictures has been hard since it takes forever to upload them since my internet is sooooooo slow!)

It has been a fun few weeks I must say! Fun and cold if I might add... You can definitely tell that the harsh Logan winter's are about to make their way in. I just wanted to update you all on some fun things that have happened!

So, my roommates and I decided that we wanted to have roommate pictures done. So we drove up Logan Canyon and just stopped at a random spot to get them done! they turned out really nice! I took all the ones that I were not in. (I just want to point out, that blogging with pictures has been hard since it takes forever to upload them since my internet is sooooooo slow!)

After that day, these other group of roomies wanted me to do their roommate pictures for them. They turned out really cute too!!

This weekend there was a girls choice Institute Dance. I asked my friend Andrew to be my date for it and we had a blast! It was SO MUCH FUN! A group of us, first went to a church to have dinner. We took a big group picture in the gym, then headed out to the dance. It was way fun! It had started snowing once it was over, so my roommate Cami, her date Jared, Andrew and I just threw snowballs and it was fun! The group we were originally with came back to my apartment and we all decided to play ultimate spoons. So the girls switched out of their dresses, into sweats, and we played that! Such a fun night....

That's all for now. Oh, and let me add that I cannot believe how fast this semester is going! Crazy!

Yay for October!

I've made it through a month of school and it's been great!

My roommates are the most creative people I know... Just take a look at what they did, for the festivities of October/Halloween!

Isn't that the cutest thing ever? We had soup in those bread bowls and it was SO GOOD.

In other news.. I have am Intelligent Life in the Universe test tomorrow, hopefully that will be okay. I'm going to study once I get off.

I need to decide what I want to be for halloween! Something easy to put together and cheap... Any ideas? Let me know!
Just thought i'd update ya!

La la la.. whatever. La la la.. it doesn't matter.

It's starting to get cooler here in Logan... I've decided that I am not happy about that. I want the good weather to stay for as long as possible! It was 90 the first week of school, 80 the second week, and now it's going down the the 70's. I not completely okay with this.

This weekend was good! On Friday everything was just played by ear. First I went to go play soccer at Adams Park with my neighbors. It was way fun even though I'm no good. When we got back the night was still young, so we decided to drive up to Green Canyon to do a bonfire. It was super fun! I love my Pineview neighbors!! They are great.

Our first home football game was this past Saturday! It was so much fun. My two neighbors, Dale and Jeremy, and I decided to get there early so we could sit in the front row! It was so worth it too! It is such a different perspective to see the players reactions to everything and their game plans and what not. I'm going to try and do that as much as possible! I love Aggie sports! In high school I didn't go to the games EVER but ever since i've been out here it's been the opposite! There so much awesome energy and people and I just love it! Afterwards we got pizza and watched a movie. A nice chill end to the weekend.

School has been good! I really need to get in the study mode though! Seriously! I feel like the only classes i'm always on top of is Math and English. So no worries i'll get it together. That's all for now folks! :)

take on me

The first week of school was great! I like all my classes. I love my roommates, my neighbors and my ward. This will most likely be a great year.

Last Sunday, our apartment floor decided to do a floor dinner after church. It was way fun. I know my neighbors a lot more now.

My birthday was on Friday and it was pretty great! The best part was the fact that USU threw the 80's dance that night!! Earlier that day I went to the DI and bought some cheetah pants. It made the outfit work so well. Here are some pictures with Karissa and my lovely next door neighbors.

don't be jealous cuz our neighbors are pretty awesome/fly.

The next morning me and all my roommates had signed up to do the Cache Valley Mud Run! It was a 5k, and believe me I hate running. But this was the funnest way to do a 5k in my opinion. It was great! Sooooo muddy. There were places where you you had to practically swim through mud. I'd totally do it again!

Before we got all DIRTY!

So far... my second year at USU has been pretty good :)
